With a very attentive waiter, who made excellent suggestions for both food and wine, and generous portions of well-prepared, authentic and tasty food that is very good value for money, this restaurant is highly recommended if you are in the Cani&ccedil;o area (we took the 155 bus up from our hotel at the coast)!

La Terraca

Wow, how to put into words the experience we had at Laranjinha, it&rsquo;s often hard to explain how a restaurant leaves you feeling physically and mentally satisfied, but it&rsquo;s clear this restaurant and staff devote their time and effort to their customers. We felt part of a family from the moment we arrived to the moment they waved goodbye to us. The food was delicious and warming, paired with gorgeous wine recommended by staff who want you to have a wonderful night. Should you want to settle with your family for a catch up, or have a romantic dinner, laranjinha is somewhere I will forever recommended. It would be an honour to dine there again. Obrigado

Special dishes we wanted from menu online were only available to order in advance so left aftevr 2 half glasses of water for 3 50.

We absolutely loved La Terraca. While staying at The Views, we wanted something that felt authentic and took us away from the beach/tourist area. This was a perfect fit - a beautiful view of twinkling lights in the hill, SPECTACULAR food, and incredibly hospitable service. The octopus should not be missed, but you can&#39;t go wrong with any choice here.

It is an excellent restaurant! Very tasty dishes and quality service. I had a delicious swordfish and a glass of a white wine of the house which was exquisite.
